[ BY RESTAURANT FORMAT ]

Built for kitchens of every kind

Restaurant formats differ more than restaurant software admits. These pages go format by format: what the service actually demands, and an honest account of where ThaliPOS fits it well and where it does not fit yet.

What every format shares

Whatever the format, the same platform underneath: counter POS, self-order kiosk, kitchen display, QR ordering, your own online storefront and delivery channels — on one menu, on ordinary hardware, and running with no internet.

Why format matters more than restaurant size

POS software is usually segmented by size — small, mid-market, enterprise — because that is how it is sold. Operationally, that is the wrong axis. A 40-cover thali house and a 40-cover steakhouse are the same size and need almost nothing in common from their software.

What actually determines fit is the shape of the transaction and the shape of the kitchen:

Each page below starts from those questions rather than from a feature list — and says where ThaliPOS does not fit yet, because that is more useful than a page that claims everything.
